Miki is Singapore’s first and only Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) certified NVC Trainer, and a pioneer in integrating neuroscience with communication practice. She studied Neuroscience and Interpersonal Neurobiology directly under Dr. Daniel J. Siegel, clinical professor at UCLA School of Medicine – one of the world’s leading authorities on how the brain shapes human connection and behaviour.

Drawing on this foundation, Miki has developed a distinctive approach to communication training that helps leaders and teams move from reactive, defensive patterns to more grounded, empathetic ways of engaging. Her workshops combine Nonviolent Communication principles with neuroscientific insights to create practical, lasting shifts in how people communicate, with themselves and with others.

At Catalyse, Miki brings this expertise to facilitation and coaching work, helping organisations build the communication cultures that underpin genuinely respectful and inclusive workplaces. She is also dedicated to growing the NVC community in Singapore, serving as an assessor to support the next generation of NVC practitioners.
