The First Responder’s Training workshop is designed to provide employees nominated by their organisation with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle workplace harassment complaints. This programme offers practical advice and guidance on understanding workplace harassment, receiving complaints, and developing a solution-based approach for resolving them. The workshop emphasises sensitivity, clarity, and empathy as crucial factors in creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
During the First Responder’s Training workshop, participants will learn how to receive complaints and understand their role and responsibilities as a first responder. The workshop will cover practical strategies for addressing complaints in a solution-based manner, with the goal of resolving them effectively. With the guidance of experienced facilitators, participants will develop skills in active listening and empathetic communication, creating a supportive and safe environment for employees who have experienced harassment.
The course is tailored to incorporate the organisations specific policies and guidelines as well as providing an overview of relevant duties under Singapore law.
