Workplace Response to Family Domestic Violence (FDV)

Workplace Response to Family Domestic Violence (FDV)

Duration: 2 hours

In today’s evolving work landscape, where home and workplace overlap, addressing the issue of family domestic violence becomes crucial within the workplace.

Our workshop equips employees with practical skills using the 3R framework to support their coworkers. They will gain access to helpful resources and learn the do’s and don’ts of providing assistance. The 3R framework empowers employees to recognise signs of family domestic violence, respond with empathy and understanding, and refer victims to appropriate resources. By employing this framework, employees become essential in preventing the escalation of domestic violence and offering support to their affected colleagues.

The workshop also emphasises the significance of confidentiality and respect for domestic violence victims, promoting a non-judgmental and empathetic approach when assisting coworkers facing family domestic violence challenges.

Program Goals

  • Educate employees about the importance of creating a safe and supportive workplace culture that values the well-being of all employees.
  • Equip employees with knowledge and skills to identify and address domestic violence in the workplace, to empower organisations in fostering a supportive environment that promotes safety and well-being.
