Amy’s expertise lies in Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, Cross Cultural Competency, Global Leadership and creating a Culture of Service within organizations. She has successfully consulted and conducted training programs in these areas for organizations across the globe, (Japan, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, South Korea, Cambodia, Myanmar, UAE, Singapore, India and UK etc).
A Gold-medalist in Hotel Management for her Undergraduate studies, Amy pursued her Masters in Management at the University of Essex, UK. In addition, she holds Trainer Certifications in Culture for Business from Trompenaars Hampden-Turner (Netherlands), Global Leadership by Prof. Robert Moran (Thunderbird University, USA), Transnational Leadership by Prof. Beth Fisher-Yoshida (Columbia University, USA) and Teaching in Higher Education by Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore). She is a qualified counsellor and coach by the Association for Talent Development (USA).
In a career spanning 25 plus years, Amy has also successfully run entrepreneurial ventures in addition to working in the private and public sectors. In her previous role, before joining Catalyse, she headed two National Award winning programs presented by the National Integration Council – Diversity.Inclusion.You. (DIY) and Global Community Day (GCD).
Amy has lived and worked in India, UK and Singapore. She calls herself a ‘travelholic’ and her motto is “looking for unity within the diversity”.
Senior Consultant and Facilitator
An Occupational Psychologist by training, Caroline specialises in identifying bespoke opportunities for growth and change covering a broad range of topics including organisational and people development, talent management, leadership selection and assessment. She is equipped to navigate complex environments and draws from her leadership and management experience across the APAC region, Seychelles and UK.
An active member of Singapore’s OD Network, Caroline is skilled in making quick connections with people. She is committed to building high performing and respectful systems in which people achieve their fullest potential thereby improving employee experience whilst driving sustainable organisational gains.
Caroline is certified in Trompenaars Hampden-Turner Culture for Business and holds a Masters degree from Birkbeck, University of London. Registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), she holds a license in the BPS’ psychological and psychometric test user (Level A and B).
Senior Consultant for Business Development
Valerie has over a decade of strategic go-to-market, business development, people leadership and sales operations experience serving the global enterprise and technology sectors with a consistent track record of revenue growth, on-time / on-budget project implementation, and positive customer and employee satisfaction.
Prior to assuming her new role as Senior Consultant for Business Development, Valerie served as a volunteer for AWARE, consulting on the inception, business strategy and operations of Catalyse. She has also served as the Secretary of AWARE’s Board of Directors (from 2016 to 2018) and as its Second Vice President (from 2019 to 2020).
Valerie is a proud mother, outspoken feminist, obvious animal lover and a strong advocate and activist for protecting and sustaining our environment. She enjoys reading, cooking, practicing yoga and travelling with her family. Valerie is currently pursuing a yoga teaching certification to further advance her healthy lifestyle and enrich her mindfulness journey.
Facilitator and Consultant for Business Operations
Chie is a highly experienced learning professional with a demonstrated history of delivering high impact and relevant learning solutions.
She has a strong background on learning consultation, development and delivery enhanced by her experience of working with different organisations on regional and global levels. Her expertise is on train-the-trainer programmes which was honed by her experience as a master trainer for HSBC’s core leadership programmes, where she supported 21 markets across the Asia Pacific Region.
A graduate of the Philippines’ prestigious University of the Philippines, she started her career in the airline industry before moving into a relationship management role in the banking industry. Her success as frontliner allowed her to transition to her first ever learning role as a sales and relationship management trainer. This in turn, led to a one-year stint in Vietnam which opened the doors for her to move to Hong Kong and become a leadership facilitator. Her work in the Diversity and Inclusion space, particularly the rollout of the Inclusive Leadership programme in Standard Chartered Bank, paved her connection with AWARE where she started as a volunteer a year after moving to Singapore with her family.
Chie is a certified IECL Level 2 Organisational Coach, and an accredited trainer for Everything DiSC, Facet 5 and a Human Centred Design Practitioner.
Aside from supporting Catalyse’s business operations and facilitating some of its programmes, she supports foreign domestic workers in Hong Kong and Singapore by volunteering as a coach and mentor with Uplifters.
With ~20 years of corporate work experience spanning industries (FMCG – P&G & PepsiCo, Business Consulting – Accenture, Financial Services – Standard Chartered Bank) across Functions (Brand Management / Innovation / Process Reengineering / Risk Governance / Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance), Ruchira’s passion lies in unblocking, enabling and maximising people and businesses.
She learned her first lessons in diversity and inclusion growing up in multicultural India, and the past 12 years in Singapore have further built on the same. She has managed teams and worked with global stakeholders across organisational levels. This has informed her active participation in D&I programmes and Lean In Circles at work.
Ruchira’s most recent role gave her the opportunity to manage risk and build trust as Head of Speaking Up, SCB’s global Whistleblower Programme, and further support Justice and a Just Culture.
She studied Business Management at IIM Bangalore and Social Sector Leadership from ILSS India. She is a certified SF Coach Practitioner (practices as an executive and life coach) and is upskilling with a Master’s Degree in Counselling.
When not coaching, consulting, or volunteering with social purpose organisations supporting SDG 5, Ruchira loves hiking the lush trails of Singapore and is a recent Krav Maga enthusiast, an interest she shares with her teenaged daughter.
