This workshop on cross-cultural understanding and sensitivity builds on the core functional competencies of participants to help them work more efficiently with multi-cultural and international clients and staff. It creates awareness of the impact of culture in areas such as communication, negotiation, decision-making processes and teamwork.
Based on the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Culture Model by Trompenaars Hampden-Turner, this workshop explores how different orientations along various dimensions can have diverse values. Upon recognising these differences, participants will become more receptive of them by understanding that ‘Different’ does not mean ‘Wrong’ or ‘Bad’.
